Price menu items from your real cost instead of copying competitors or relying on guesswork. Values are estimates and should be checked against your invoices, operating costs, and local tax rules.
One calculation is a snapshot. A costing system shows the trend.
Ingredient prices, yields, packaging, and commissions move. Kitchfy keeps those inputs connected so margins can be monitored over time.

How do I calculate a menu price from food cost?
Divide the recipe cost per portion by your target food cost as a decimal. For example, $3.00 divided by 0.30 produces a $10.00 base menu price.
How does delivery commission affect menu price?
A percentage commission is taken from the listed price. To preserve the same base revenue, divide the base menu price by one minus the commission rate.
Is the suggested price guaranteed to be profitable?
No. It is a planning estimate. Confirm labor, rent, packaging, discounts, taxes, card fees, and local pricing rules before publishing a final price.
